Find reviewed stacks for your workspace

A stack extends your workspace’s capabilities, adds skills and workflows for a kind of work, or both. Every listed version is a specific GitHub release that has passed review.

What a stack extendsextension_type
Each listing declares a stack kind. Reviewers check that it matches what the stack does.

Three kinds of stack

Your workspace works without stacks. Each kind adds something different, and all use the same contract for validation, installation, updates and removal.

Functionality

Extends your workspace

Adds workspace functionality, such as a search provider for your agent. Providers run only after you trust the exact digest of what you installed, and only when you select them.

  • hashed assets
  • compatibility
Functionality + capability

Does both

Extends your workspace and adds the workflow that uses it, such as a search provider bundled with a literature review skill. The trust requirements for both parts apply.

  • skills
  • workflow

The popular tab ranks stacks by GitHub stars. Each count shows when it was fetched. TDT does not report installation counts.

How releases are reviewed

Every version is reviewed separately, including stacks published by the TDT team. You still need to trust the exact digest before hooks or providers can run.

Inspect a stack before installing it:

tdt stack install <stack-id> --inspect
Submit a stack
  1. 1

    Publish a GitHub release

Use a public repository with stack.json at its root. Publish a release whose tag matches the stack version, such as v1.2.0.

  2. 2

    Submit it here

Sign in with GitHub. We confirm you control the repository, resolve the tag to its commit and read stack.json from that commit.

  3. 3

    Staff review that exact commit

Reviewers download the release, validate it with TDT and test it without production credentials. They check every disclosure against what the stack does.

  4. 4

    The approved release is listed

The registry records the commit, the archive digest and the content digest. The TDT CLI refuses to install anything that does not match.
